Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms & conditions prior to purchasing from a+b furniture. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Terms of sale

All prices are in Pounds Sterling and are quoted inclusive of VAT. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order Confirmation.

Payment will be debited from your account at the time of purchase, or soon thereafter. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard and Maestro credit and debit cards and payments are securely processed by Stripe.

You may cancel your order at any time so long as the item(s) have not been personalised. You will be refunded in full. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.

Product Information

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time including removing or editing content on this website. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will notify you of this and offer the option of waiting for the product to become available or receiving a full refund for the product which is unavailable.

Despite our very best efforts to ensure product information is current and correct, we cannot guarantee the absence of errors. If there is a clear error or omission in the product description, we will notify you prior to dispatch of your order and refund you in full if you wish to cancel your order once the information has been corrected.

Product imagery is offered as good representation of the product but, for reasons beyond our control, we cannot be responsible for the colour accurateness of products viewed online or on printed media.


Delivery of small products is free across the whole of the UK. These items are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class.

Larger products are sent via DHL. Delivery of these items is free to England, Wales and lowland Scotland. There is a charge for deliveries to the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland. Please see product pages for specific delivery costs.

Delivery to Ireland is also via DHL. Please see product pages for specific delivery costs.

Please note that parcels sent with DHL are trackable, but we can not be held responsible for their service. If your parcel has been sent with DHL, the tracking details will be provided to you via a dispatch email. 

Orders, under normal circumstances and circumstances within our control, should arrive within 5 days for products in stock and 8 - 20 working days for made-to-order products. Please see product pages for current delivery times. You will be advised of any delay or if the item is not available.

We do not offer international delivery as standard but we are happy to provide a quote on request for shipping to an overseas address.

We do offer delivery of the Oak Christmas tree to some countries in Europe. These countries include: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

We reserve the right to change delivery lead times and method of postage at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order Confirmation.


If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know. We ask that you contact us within 7 working days of receipt on 01235 412080 or via email. Products may be returned within 14 working days from receipt of your order and you will receive a full refund, providing that the items are in a resalable condition and carefully repackaged in the original packaging.

Please note that due to the bespoke nature of made to order/personalised products, we are unable to offer refunds on these items unless they are found to be faulty.

With the exception of faulty items or goods damaged in transit, we are not responsible for return postage. Please return items to a+b furniture, Unit 7, W & G Estate, East Challow, Oxfordshire, OX12 9TF unless otherwise advised. Please contact us first as we may be able to arrange to have your item/s returned more efficiently.

It is advisable for you to obtain a proof of posting when returning items, as they remain your responsibility until we have received them. In the event that the goods are not in resaleable condition, we reserve the right to not provide a refund and you will be responsible for the cost of such goods being returned to you, within 14 days of our notification. 

Goods damaged in transit

In the unlikely event that a parcel arrives damaged or faulty, you must contact us within 7 working days of receipt on 01235 412080 or via email. All items should be returned within 14 days of receipt. You will be given the option to receive a replacement or a full refund to your card, including the cost of return postage. Please see above for information on how to return goods.

Import Duty

If you order Products from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination.  You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.  Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.  Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined.  We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

Written communications

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing.  When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic.  We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website.  For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.  This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

A confirmation email is sent to you after the placing of an order and after dispatch.

Data Protection & Privacy Policy 

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We request your name and address to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service but we WILL NOT pass your name and address to ANY third parties. We hold your name, address, phone number and email address. We do not hold your credit/debit card details. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure, however if we are not negligent, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer, if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.

Our liability

We warrant to you that any Product purchased from us through our site is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of the kind are commonly supplied.

Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Product you purchased [and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us].

Law and jurisdiction

Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by English law.  Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such Contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

Events outside our control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

The information is provided by a+b furniture and while we endeavour to keep the information up to date and correct, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability with respect to the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website. Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, a+b furniture takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
